TOP 5 WOODTRICK RELEASES OF 2025
We’ve got a little tradition around here: at the beginning of the year, we look back and crown our Top 3 releases from the year before.
But… 2025 had other plans 😎
This year was packed with new models — all wildly different. From sleek, design-forward lamps to a seriously brutal wooden bulldozer, the lineup couldn’t have been more diverse. Each release had its own personality, its own challenge, and its own loyal fans. Even our Instagram polls couldn’t agree — most ended in a clean 50/50 split.
Picking just three? Not happening.
So we did the only thing that made sense.
We made it a Top 5!
Fusion X Rifle
One of the questions we hear most often is: “WoodTrick, when will the Special Forces Series get an update?” Quick reminder: this is our dedicated line of wooden DIY projects for fans of military engineering, tactical design, and powerful machines.
Well, in the summer of 2025, the bold, charismatic Fusion X Rifle arrived. The model includes all the key features of its real-world prototype: a full-length barrel, a lifelike optical scope, a magazine for 9 rounds, and a working reload mechanism. Like all WoodTrick wooden rifles, Fusion X is completely safe, using lightweight wooden bullets. It’s less about play and more about the satisfaction of building something intricate, functional, and beautifully engineered — a strong pick for collectors and builders who take pride in how things work.

Lumber Rumbler
This model isn’t just in our Top 5 of 2025 — it’s a strong contender for an all-time favorite. Why?
First, it’s a monster truck. And let’s be honest — everyone loves monster trucks. Second, it might just be the most stylish monster truck on the DIY scene. Giant wheels meet the charming retro design of a classic Chevy Bel Air, creating a build that stands out the moment it hits the workbench. Add a flexible suspension system, and the movement alone is enough to steal the show. And speaking of movement — powered by a rubber band motor, Lumber Rumbler actually drives. Thanks to its oversized monster wheels, it can even handle small obstacles along the way.

Just in case — here are 7 reasons the Lumber Rumbler will steal your heart ❤️
Grand Traveler 246
Another bright addition to our Vintage Machinery Series, the Grand Traveler 246 made a strong entrance — even with a late-year release. This wooden locomotive quickly rolled into the trends, powered by a rubber band engine that lets the train travel up to 20 feet on a single wind-up. As for the looks — the detailing is spot on. From the smokestack and front headlamp to the driving wheels and the iconic boiler shape, every element reflects the craftsmanship of classic rail engineering. In short, we packed this DIY kit with all the charm of the golden age of rail — and invite you to slow down, build, and enjoy every detail along the way.

Luminous Zeppelin
In 2025, our engineers clearly caught a vintage vibe — and one of the year’s standout releases, the Luminous Zeppelin, became a true symbol of old-school Hollywood elegance. This wooden project is all about the grace of flight, a sense of adventure, and thoughtful design in every detail. It’s not just a DIY model of a classic airship — it’s also a functional lantern, creating a warm, cozy glow thanks to an LED strip hidden inside the balloon.
One more distinctive touch: the Luminous Zeppelin works both as a table lamp and a wall-mounted light, making it a statement piece for any interior. So, if you appreciate unique design and character in your space — this one’s for you.

Terrain Titan
No Top 5 list would be complete without this giant — and it’s easy to see why: 1,715 pieces to assemble. That’s like building the previous four models combined!
But it’s not just about the numbers. Terrain Titan is a super-detailed wooden bulldozer, featuring a movable blade and hook, massive tracks, and all the realistic touches you’d expect from a heavy-duty machine. And, like all our transport models, it actually drives. Words can only do so much — you really have to see it in action!

- Complexity: PRO+ (for seasoned builders)
- Assembly time: 18-20 hours
