Why do we "shoot" photos?
Made of wood, inspired by the art of photography
What makes this wooden model stand out is its remarkable level of detail. Every major feature of a rangefinder-style camera is carefully recreated and fully functional — the lens rotates smoothly, and the shutter speed dial lets you “set” different exposure values. The lens and viewfinder window are made of acrylic glass (included in the kit). On the back of the camera, you’ll find a film compartment that opens to hold your own photo or a decorative film strip. The set also includes a film strip with 12 frames: 6 sepia illustrations and 6 black-and-white illustrations to color.
This DIY camera is perfect for creative builders and design lovers who appreciate hands-on projects and unique decor pieces. Crafted from sustainable wood and built without glue or special tools, it celebrates the process of making something by hand. When finished, it stands out as a unique interior object that brings character and a personal touch to any space.
