TIMBERTRON ULTIMA: MEET THE GAME CHANGER

TIMBERTRON ULTIMA: MEET THE GAME CHANGER

Hey friends, let’s get right to it — we have launched our latest 3D constructor, the amazing Timbertron Ultima! Wondering who that is?

If you know Optimus Prime or Bumblebee (and really, who doesn’t?), you’re already on the right track. Unless, of course, the Men in Black erased your memory, because since 1984, Transformers have been taking the world by storm. From cartoons and blockbuster movies to comics, video games, collectibles, and that iconic "Autobots, roll out!" catchphrase, they’re everywhere. Oh, and fun fact — the new animated film Transformers One just came out this September. Quite the coincidence, right? 😊

So, our brand new Timbertron Ultima is the real deal — it’s an actual transformer! Indeed, it’s not just a DIY model packed with all sorts of cool mechanical features and challenges; it’s a robot from a faraway galaxy with an “alter ego” — a powerful truck. Our engineers definitely couldn’t resist the temptation to create a transforming model, and we’re sure you won’t be able to resist assembling it either!

Here are the three main things you need to know about this new release:

The Biggest

Previously, the WoodTrick record for the number of pieces belonged to the Offshore Rig Platform (1180 pieces), which was known as one of the most challenging builds not only in our lineup but in the entire 3D construction scene. Well, the Platform now moves to a respectable second place, as our Timbertron Ultima boasts an impressive 1212 pieces! Plus, with a height of 360 mm for the robot and a length of 290 mm for the truck, this assembly is seriously massive. Ready to smash some records?

The most complex

Timbertron Ultima is a one-of-a-kind DIY transformer robot that turns into a truck and then back into a robot. Developing this project and giving it the ability to transform took serious effort from our engineers—just the design alone took over 4 months. Pretty wild, right? So, be prepared to spend at least 14-16 hours assembling the Timbertron. You'll start by building the robot, then, by following the instructions and using special levers, you can transform it into a truck and... back into a robot. It’s a double engineering challenge, as we like to say!

Incredibly detailed

We always aim to surprise you not only with an engaging assembly process but also with cool features in the final model. That’s why Timbertron is interactive: the robot can strike different poses, and the truck can roll up to 3 meters with just one wind-up. Thanks to special springs in the joints, the robot is anatomically accurate and flexible: the arms and legs are movable, the knees bend, and the head rotates. The truck also has  a freewheel mechanism in the rear wheels, allowing it to coast smoothly. Plus, the windows in this model are made of acrylic glass, which is a new addition to our 3D car models.
